CROSSFIT The magic is in the movement and the art is in the programming. CrossFit is based on a broad range of functional exercise. This includes weightlifting, gymnastics, cardio and mobility with the goal of developing an overall increase in strength and conditioning. The aim is to leave no stone unturned, you will be challenged in constantly varied avenues of fitness, from 1rms to new skills to 30 minute AMRAP’s and everything in between! The daily CrossFit WOD’s at Brawn will push your fitness and ‘work capacity’ to the next level and make you stronger, faster, and leaner. SWEAT Is a 45 minute calorie-burning cardio and core intensive workout. We still incorporate a generous dose of weight training, as we know how effective strength work is to the overall picture of health. However, the degree of movement complexity is a little more straight forward with none of the barbell lifts and gymnastics you’ll see in CrossFit. Sweat sessions will utilise bodyweight movements, cardio machines, kettlebells, and more to increase your heart rate, burn fat, promote lean muscle growth, and develop overall conditioning.
STRENGTH/SWOD This will be a direct focus on specific strength development and movement proficiency namely on the Olympic lifting, powerlifting and accessory drills. These sessions are suited to anyone looking to further enhance strength and muscle gains.
